Tampa Wedding Photography – Your Story By Us

Well the rain decided not to hold out for Jackie & Jason’s wedding at The White Room in St Augustine. Fortunately for us, the decor in the building was incredible. Any venue that has damask and brick is okay in our book! The spirit of celebration was all around as everyone seemed to have a blast at the wedding. What an awesome day it was!!

We had such an amazing time with Amie and Chris at their beautiful wedding at the Baughman Center in Gainesville.  We absolutely loved Amie’s birdcage veil and feather hair accessory…details like that are pure eye candy for us!!!  They opted to go the nontraditional route and see each other before the ceremony (we love this!!!!!) which gave us tons of time to have fun taking photos of just the two of them.  In fact, Chris even helped Amie get ready (which was a first for us and soooooo sweet!!)  The reception at Indian Cuisine was a low key and intimate affair where Amie and Chris got to truly enjoy spending time with their family and friends.  Plus we got to eat some absolutely delicious Indian food

Yes – This was in fact the first time we witnessed a groom bustling his bride. He did a great job too!

What a day this was…one of our favorite couples were married at one of our favorite Jacksonville area venues.  Life just doesn’t get much better than that.  Shannon & Brian are just one of those couples that remind us why we love photographing weddings so much.  They are just amazing people inside and out…kind, caring, humble, and completely in love.  Their wedding was full of simple elegance with gorgeous citrus details.  Oh and Liz had some serious tattoo envy…Shannon is rocking a pretty sweet tattoo on her back…hmmm maybe it’s time for us to go get some ink

Okay so now we need to spill a little secret (and probably embarrass Shannon & Brian but with good reason!)  During the formals, Shannon & Brian shared with us their hesitation to book us for their wedding because they felt they weren’t “attractive” enough after looking through our portfolio.  Ummmmm…..okay…..so check out the photos below.  Seriously the two of them belong on the cover of a magazine

Yes you are seeing this correctly…the entire cake was held up by lemon halves!!  It was visually stunning and probably a feat of physics that we cannot even begin to understand!!

We had some fun playing with light after the sun went down

Saying “I do” in the sand at the Hilton in Clearwater Beach was almost out of reach on Falecia & Jimmie’s wedding day as the intermittent rain all morning threatened to spoil their plans.  But it seems as though all the finger crossing and silent prayers led to some cosmic miracle, and after raining for hours and hours…it simply stopped.  It just stopped.  Falecia & Jimmie got to have their beautiful beach wedding and they followed it up with one rocking party.  We saw some dance moves that we have never seen before…it was awesome.  :)

These two have got a future so bright they’ve gotta wear shades…yes that’s right…Brandy and Nic said “I do” rocking some hot shades!!  They got ready at the Hilton Clearwater Beach which is where they did their “first look” (highly recommended!!!! ) and we got to play with all of the fun artwork around the hotel for photos!!  They partied like rock stars at their awesome reception at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center and the night even meandered into table dancing territory…oh yeah!
