We had such a wonderful time with Kara & Ryan at their beautiful Grand Plaza wedding!!

Cassy and Drew’s vintage chic wedding in shades of yellow and grey was nothing short of incredible.  Every detail was meticulously chosen and many were handmade to reflect Cassy & Drew’s personal style.  Guests were greeted at the Lyceum  by a vintage travel themed welcome table where they were encouraged to leave love notes for the bride and groom.  The window pane seating charts directed guests to their tables where they found personalized mason jars as water glasses.  The textures of sunflowers, baby’s breath, billy buttons, and daisies graced the room with a rustic elegance.  Smiles, laughter, and even a few tears were woven through the fabric of this incredible wedding day for one amazing couple.

Jennifer and Eric traveled from Austin, TX to say I do along the gorgeous sandy shores of Longboat Key.  They are such a sweet and fun couple and we simply had an amazing time at their incredible wedding.  It is so much fun and a true honor when we get to work with creative couples…Jennifer is a photographer and Eric creates animated videos and games among other things.  So of course their wedding was brimming with all kinds of interesting and unique details!!  But the most memorable part of the day for us was just how kind everyone was…thanks for making us feel like part of the family!!  :)

We had such an amazing time with Jocelyn and Justin at Philippe Park!!

Okay so we lied.  A couple of blog posts back we claimed to have been at the windiest wedding day ever.  Well that was before Ben & Kelly’s wedding day…and let’s just say there were some serious gale force winds.  But the wind and intermittent showers did not dampen the spirits of these two incredible people on their wedding day.  Ben and Kelly simply smiled and laughed in the face of the crazy weather and yes…during a couple of moments they even frolicked in the light rain.  They were not going to let anything stop them from enjoying every single second of their day.  Beneath the sanctuary of the grand tapestries of a crisp white tent and amidst the malibu blue details, they danced the night away surrounded by family and friends and serenaded by the sounds of Ben’s father’s band.

Kirsten and Mike are two of the most genuine and wonderful people we have ever been lucky enough to meet…and it is really a special day when we can take part in a wedding joining two such people.  Against the backdrop of the stunning grounds of the Westin Diplomat, surrounded by incredible family and friends, these two die hard Gator fans laughed and smiled, hugged and cried, and in general enjoyed every single second of their wedding day.

It truly makes the day special when a bride includes heirlooms in her wedding day attire. Kirsten used her mom’s prom purse as well as her grandmother’s handkerchief…so beautiful.

The details were impeccable in shades of pacific blue, burnt orange, deep plum and light green.

The band was absolutely incredible!!

The speech by the three best men was absolutely hilarious! They took a unified approach for their speeches, delivering a single speech and taking turns word by word

Beneath the trees she planted with her mother as a six year old girl, in the backyard of her childhood home, Angela promised her unconditional love and friendship to Jonathan.  It was the perfect backdrop for the sweet and romantic wedding of this incredible couple.  The soft color palette of peach and blush was brought to life in a stunning array of details, most of which were handcrafted by Angela and her mom.  Even the gorgeous ethereal dress Angela donned was entirely made by her mother, and included pieces of material from her sister’s wedding gown.  Every beautiful detail of this wedding was carefully chosen and infused with love.  It was such a wonderful day with a truly amazing group of people and we were so honored to be there to capture it.

Their wedding jewelry was incredibly special.  Before Angela’s godmother passed away, she gave her money towards her wedding dress for when that day came.  Since her mom made her dress, she decided to put the money towards these diamond earrings as a special way to incorporate her godmother into her wedding day ensemble. Jonathan’s wedding ring belonged to his grandfather who passed away. Jonathan, sadly, did not get to know him. Wearing his ring helps him to feel closer to his grandfather who he never really knew.  Angela’s vintage engagement ring is pear shaped to keep the family tradition…her mom and sister both had pear shaped diamonds.

These were some of the coolest bridesmaid gifts we have ever seen! Each bridesmaid was given a necklace depicting the constellation corresponding to her zodiac sign!

This had to be one of the windiest wedding days ever!! The girls were such troopers even as they were struggling just to walk!

Only the best would do when it came to choosing the menu for these self-proclaimed foodies!
