Palm Valley Gardens Wedding

What a day this was…one of our favorite couples were married at one of our favorite Jacksonville area venues.  Life just doesn’t get much better than that.  Shannon & Brian are just one of those couples that remind us why we love photographing weddings so much.  They are just amazing people inside and out…kind, caring, humble, and completely in love.  Their wedding was full of simple elegance with gorgeous citrus details.  Oh and Liz had some serious tattoo envy…Shannon is rocking a pretty sweet tattoo on her back…hmmm maybe it’s time for us to go get some ink ;-)

Okay so now we need to spill a little secret (and probably embarrass Shannon & Brian but with good reason!)  During the formals, Shannon & Brian shared with us their hesitation to book us for their wedding because they felt they weren’t “attractive” enough after looking through our portfolio.  Ummmmm…..okay…..so check out the photos below.  Seriously the two of them belong on the cover of a magazine :-)

Yes you are seeing this correctly…the entire cake was held up by lemon halves!!  It was visually stunning and probably a feat of physics that we cannot even begin to understand!!

We had some fun playing with light after the sun went down :-)
